January 22nd, 2016 - Owing a new school bag, an extracurricular books and a piece of cloth for warmth is very normal to a child in the city. However, it is an unattainable luxury for children in Linghou Primary School, Dalinghou Village, Dabei Town, Shunping County, Hebei.
On January 20th, 2016, employee representatives of Beijing Aikang Group carried a van of supplies to Linghou Primary School to warm its children up under the severe coldness of -14 degrees.

After 5 hours' jerky drive and through the channel 100% manually dug for 7 years by Dalinghou Village people, the employee representatives of the Group finally arrived at the school. The genial Principal Wenshui Chen and children of the school had been waiting for a long time. The lovely children are wearing sunny smily faces and people watching them are deeply moved.

Cold as it was, children were wearing very thin clothes. The uniform donated by public charity activities was already the best clothes for them. On seeing this, the representatives immediately started to unload supplies for the children.

Students prepared a special welcome ceremony and danced the "Little Apple" which was so joyful that every one presented was deeply attached by the childlike dancing and their innocent faces.

A speech was delivered by a student representative of the school, Yueyuan Chen who belonged to the Young Pioneers group committee and one of the all-around students on a city level . She used her own words to express the dream of the students from Linghou Primary School for keeping studing and seeing the outside world. It's very moving that those students were still enthusiastic about study despite all that hardship.

Shaohua Wang, a group employee representative also made a speech for the students and mentioned in his speech that "I'm so happy to see those lovely children today. The mission of our company, Beijing Aikang Group, is to 'create a medical environment equal for all beings with our love.' In simple terms, we hope to, via our continuous efforts, keep on improving medical technology and medical quality to help more people get away from the distress of pains and disease and to send our love to everyone. We also hope that our love can help you improve the study and learning environment and hope that, with our love and everyone's blessing, you could do well in studywork and be a good person for the society and others in the future."
The Principal and teachers of the school further elaborated the situation of the school and of the students' family. Through the Principal's elaboration, we were striked that Linghou Primary school has been wretched all the time and even at risk of shutting down due to the scarce number of students until Principal Chen took the office at the critical moment. With the subsidization and support from all social sectors and the financial allocation from Education Bureau, the loss of students was initially reduced. Village people kindly gave Principal Chen a nickname of "the Bagger Principal".

From the visit, we knew that most of the students were from poor families and the parents of some students have suffered from various diseases and even lost the ability to do normal work. What impressed us much was that every family had a wall glittering with awards of the student. Those awards speak for the efforts input by and the learning desire of the students. During the visit, the village people hospitably clasped over group employee representatives and their eyes were filled with appreciation. Group employee representatives extended cares and blessing to them and wish them a happy new year.
The donation visit to Linghou Primary School strengthens the resolution of Beijing Aikang Group to keep on doing public charity activities for not only Linghou Primary School, but also many more people. Before leaving, Principal Chen took representatives by hand and expected that Beijing Aikang Group could tell more people about the situation his school was facing, and let more people know about here and give their helping hands.
